Cuckmere Community Solar
This was a local Sussex initiative building a solar farm near the Cuckmere Valley, aiming to power both homes and the railway which was potentially a UK first. Born from a unique partnership, the project adapted to policy changes by joining Riding Sunbeams to envisage a sustainable, community-led energy model
Unfortunately due to funding challenges the project was not brought to fruition, but valuable lessons were learnt as part of this groundbreaking project.
